When Creativity, Design, and Action Meet

Giving a beautiful shape to your thinking and concept when you are on an urge to attain something great is called creativity. You put forward your first step of thinking i. e, your creativity in an artistic form like any pattern, plan or map is what we call designing the creativity. And then you move forward and take the ultimate step to attain your goal with the help of this proper planning is defined as action.

In this trio of creativity, design, and action, one thing is common and that is an idea. The idea is the creator of creativity which formulates the design and gives it the shape of action. We desire to become successful and want to earn fame. But what is the key factor to achieve this? We require creativity which will tell this world, the beauty of our mind. We require design which will shape our creativity in a proper manner and lastly, we must take action, which will give our idea a physical form according to the design. If we pass all these three steps, we are far more than being successful. As creators of the visual world, we’re on the front lines of shaping minds through purposeful design.

For a student, when learning becomes a hobby, research becomes an adventure, and work becomes an exhibition of their talent. This is when the student is on the way to give this world a meaningful and advanced technology. There is no right or wrong way to be creative. When we think, it gives us the opportunity to engage with the world. We start to value our work, even when others may not appreciate it. When we add design to creativity, it allows us to have those completely unexpected breakthroughs by creating several rapid prototypes and encouraging fast feedback from actual users. Ultimately your action will judge the hard work behind your passionate thinking.

Bree Edwards, director of Northeastern University’s Centre for the Arts was asked about the centre’s mission and progress, where she told that artists, creativity, and entrepreneurship contribute to society in incredibly thoughtful, provocative, and challenging ways. She added that they collaborate across disciplines, across the University, and across the city of Boston. Their action depends on their design which in turn influences their creativity.

Just like everyone is capable of creative thoughts, so is everyone capable of design learning. All you need is to start seeing your life as a creative endeavour, one where any challenge or problem you come across can have a creative action.
