What is Greatness? And How to Achieve it?

Your greatness is not what you have, it’s what you give. As we all are known with the fact that great things take time and so the greatness. Greatness cannot be achieved in one day. It’s a long journey from being yourself to being a man that lives for other’s welfare. Bringing out a smile from a depressed person is greatness. Always keeping your parents happy is greatness. Cherishing others in their success is greatness and if you feel pain in making this world and your loved ones proud, then this is greatness.   Always remember that your pain is a part of your greatness.

Have you ever helped your tired mother in her housework without her calling you? Have you ever thought about your father’s dreams and worked for him? Have you ever dreamt of making this world a better place to live? Have you worked for anyone’s wellness without expecting anything in return? If yes then you are on the path of being great and if no then sorry to say but you too are not going to receive anything lovely from others.

Rachel Rodgers, associate professor in the Department of Applied Psychology, Northeastern University, Boston says greatness is very much a cultural construction-somewhat like standards of beauty and attractiveness. And yes when you bring out greatness from yourself, you are giving a lot to our culture.

There is no greatness where there is no simplicity, goodness, and truth. Greatness does not mean how strong you are, it simply means how you use your strength in the right manner.
