Virtual learnings this May

Amidst this global pandemic that has hit us like a big rock, it is important to find ways and paths to keep up with the studies and learning new skills. We all know it’s been a long time now since we have been out there in a COVID-19 free world. Hence, we all are facing losses in every aspect be it financial or in skillsets. In these tough times, it is important to keep going with engaging in different skills and learning about them using virtual methodologies. However, the question is how efficient are they?

The Northeastern University has been prominent in providing various versatile opportunities to the youth out there to learn even when they are strangled at their homes. They have designed a digital network called SAIL which not only provides various opportunities to learn but also helps in tracking both personal and professional growth of an individual. It is user friendly and flexible as it can be approached through the web, Android devices, and even ioS users.

They provide intriguing virtual training and events to keep the users occupied. A session with a legal career advisor, learning working with civic data, hearing from women involved in data science, and exploring big data sets with experts are some of the geek-attractions of SAIL. However , don’t worry if you are not one for the information grasping. They got it all covered. Some fun and engaging events like getting out for a virtual movie night, showing off your talents, taking a zoo tour, and playing an online game keep all of their users satisfied. Events such as blood donation and meditation from afro yoga blood flow help keep your social health intact too.

It’s been a long journey till now fighting against COVID-19 and it’s a long one ahead. We all need to keep our mindset in the right direction of recovery but also keep going with its growth. SAIL is a great initiative and a superb project by the Northeastern University to contribute to learnings of people while we all are in quarantine. So this May, if you feel bored or want to learn something new, you are just one step away from experiencing wonderful things at SAIL.
