It’s been quite some time since we all have been quarantined in our houses and been away from our friends. Our schedules and routines have changed drastically in these past few weeks. A large part of our daily routines included our friends. Activities such as dancing, singing, playing, working out, even just a stroll down the street was fun when we had our friends around. Life has been absurd being away from our friends and people whom we met regularly at our schools and colleges. However, what if you could still create that lively environment while all of us are in lockdown?
It’s often said that if you really want to do something, nothing can stop you from doing it. That’s exactly what was shown by the Northeastern University’s dance team. They got together virtually on video calls and created an energetic choreography. They gave a message through their dance video that nothing can stop them to get together and express their moves even when quarantined. People all around the world are using the gifts of technology to get close to their loved ones who are far away from them at the moment. These little things and activities immensely contribute to keeping a positive environment in our households.
Beating tough times require extra efforts from individuals. Checking up on each other, keeping each other engaged, and supporting them mentally and emotionally are the things which will help us get through this pandemic. Art has always been a beautiful way to express one’s feelings. Engaging together in activities like dancing, singing, painting, etc., helps to keep our friends and colleagues close and happy during this quarantine. Technology has made it possible to connect with our loved ones all over the world. So, its high time that we make the most of it and don’t let any of us feel lonely or left out at this time. Bring out the artist in you and you can create wonderful things with your friends.
