Importance of Computer Sciences

According to the Association of Computing Machinery, “Computing and computer education are part of just about everything that touches our lives from the cars we drive to the movies we watch, to the ways business and government deal with us”.

A TV series fan wants to skip ten seconds in a video because he is too bore watching the same scene from plenty much of time.  A scientist wants to reduce his burden and therefore uses Matlab to verify his observations. A teacher is too tired by making the record of his students and copy/paste the same using MS Excel and MS word. Still, you want to know the need of computing?  It is a science that deals with the study of storage, transformation, and transfer of information.  If you want to make a positive difference in the world, study computing.  Computer science drives innovation in vaccines research, environmental monitoring and protection and also in business, engineering, entertainment, and education.

An increasing number of universities and employers see the successful completion of a computer science course as a sign of academic wellness. And one of such universities, Northeastern Khoury College of Computer Sciences is a national leader in cybersecurity and privacy in an increasingly digitally connected world.  As the global economy adapts to the influence of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics. Northeastern is empowering humans to be agile learners, thinkers, and creators beyond the capacity of any machine.

In this age of unemployment where a brilliant degree holder is in search of a job, it is only computer science which is a never-ending and most popular field of interest. By studying computer science, you contribute to the employment of your nation.  Don’t you want to build a better world?  Don’t you want to build an advanced nation?  Of course, you want.  This is what our Nation expects from us. It is correctly said that future opportunities in computing are without boundaries.
